  • We would like to know more about Sable Home Care. What should we do?

    Contact us at (616)-755-1868 or sablehomecare@gmail.com with any questions you have. Sable Home Care also offers a free Home Consultation. The consultation includes pricing estimates, information about home care, and a free assessment. This helps us get acquainted with each other and sets the foundation for our care!

  • How long are each visit and how many visits can we have a week?

    That is all up to the client and the family. Our minimum visit length is 3 hours. The average visit is between 3-5 hours long. You can have anywhere between 1-5 visits a week. It is all dependent on client/family preferences and care needs.

  • Whose car is used if transportation is needed?

    This is up to the client and family! The caregiver’s personal vehicle or the client’s personal vehicle can be used. If the client’s car is to be used, we require the client to have current car insurance and valid car registration. If the Caregiver’s vehicle is used, the client will be charged a per mile rate of 0.25$.

  • How do we know if we qualify for the Add On Servicies?

    Our RN Client Supervisor will do an assessment at the time of the Home Consultation to se what add on’s are applicable to you or your loved one.

  • My family member has dementia, do you offer dementia focused care?

    Yes! Our staff takes extra training to better care for adults with dementia. This training includes communication, behavioral interventions, deescalation techniques, how to assist with ADLs, as well as activities to help with cognitive abilities.

  • What if care needs change?

    Life always changes, as do our needs. With our constant monitoring of our clients and on-going communication with the families, we are able to change any care needs for the client.

  • Are families involved in the care?

    Of course! Families are extremely important for the care we give as they give us much needed information about lifestyle, health, and ADL needs. Families are not only welcome, but encouraged to be involved.

  • Do you take Long Term Care Insurance?

    Yes! We can work with your long term care insurance. That being said, some policies cover Non-Medical Home Care and others do not. Each insurance company has a different process for billing/reimbursement and care plan requirements.

  • I am in Independent Living, can I get Home Care?

    Home is where-ever you want it to be! We can provide services in independent and assisted living. Some clients and family use our services to slow the transition from independent living to assisted living and/or to provide activities.

  • Do you accept Medicaid Waiver or Senior Millage?

    Yes! We have a partnership with Reliance which allows us to accept individuals who have Medicaid Waiver or Senior Millage
